Hey anyone who uses #etsy, they are changing their terms and conditions so you cannot participate in class action lawsuits against them. You can opt out using these steps, but you have to do it before 23rd August 2023.

It applies if you have a profile there, whether you sell or not!

@RealGene @stavvers So you have to find enough users willing to potentially lose money, so that the legal fees for Etsy are big enough to go for a settlement instead. This all is a very strange legal practice from European perspective.

If these lawyers could figure out how to streamline the arbitration process and file thousands of claims, they could cost businesses far more in fees than they'd ever have to pay in a class action settlement.”
