​ Agender - a gender identity that is neither "woman", "man", nor any other gender. Being agender can be defined as having no gender identity. Some feel that they identify more as a person rather than a gender, or feel genderless, or like they're outside of the gender binary.

 Aromantic - a term referring to someone whose experience with romance is disconnected from societal expectations, typically due to a lack of or very low romantic attraction, seeing the idea of romance as repulsive, or lack of interest in romantic relationships.

 Asexual - an orientation characterized by non-existent (or a lack of) sexual attraction. Asexual people can have sexual desires (libido), but not a real sexual attraction to people. This term is commonly abbreviated to "ace".

​ Bigender - a gender identity characterized by having two separate (not necessarily binary) gender identities at the same time, or changing between two gender identities over time.

​ Bisexual - an orientation characterized by sexual attraction towards two or more genders, or sexual attraction to both similar and dissimilar genders.

 Demifemme - a gender identity that is partially (but not fully) a girl or a woman. The other part of one's gender can be any gender or combination of genders, including a lack of gender (agender).

 Demigender - a gender identity that involves only a partial connection or identification with a certain gender, or a partial connection to gender itself.

 Demimasc - a gender identity that is partially (but not fully) a boy or a man. The other part of one's gender can be any gender or combination of genders, including a lack of gender (agender).

 Gay Male / MLM - an orientation referring to a man (or a male-aligned nonbinary individual) who is attracted to men or male-aligned nonbinary people.

 Genderfluid - a term signifying that one's gender identity fluctuates over time between being masculine, feminine, androgynous, or neutral. These fluctuations may be random, regular, or dependent on certain conditions.

 Genderflux - a term signifying that one's gender identity fluctuates over time in terms of intensity. The fluctuations may be extreme (from no sense of a gender to a very strong sense of gender) or modest (from a small sense of gender to a medium sense of gender).

 Genderqueer - an umbrella term describing individuals who feel that they have a queer or non-normative experience with gender, either through their gender identity, their gender presentation, or other experiences of gender.

 Grey Aromantic - a term referring to people who experience romantic attraction rarely or only under specific circumstances, or who may feel romantic attraction but not desire a romantic relationship. It can also refer to other not-purely-aromantic identities (i.e. demiromantic).

 Grey Asexual - a term referring to people who experience sexual attraction rarely or only under specific circumstances. It can also refer to other not-purely-asexual identities (i.e. demisexual) or those who relate to asexuality but feel that parts of their experiences are not fully described by the term.

 Intersex - a term referring to all people whose bodies do not conform to the established categories of "male" and "female", on a chromosomal, anatomical, and/or hormonal level. An intersex person can be of any gender identity.

 Lesbian / WLW - an orientation referring to a woman (or a female-aligned nonbinary individual) who is attracted to women or female-aligned nonbinary people.

 Maverique - a gender identity that is autonomous/different from femininity, masculinity, androgyny, neutrality, and xeninity, but is still characterized by a strong sense of gender.

 Neutrois - a gender identity that is neutral, but not the same as being agender. This term comes from Latin "neuter" (meaning "neither of the two") and French "trois" (meaning "three", as in "third gender").

 Nonbinary - a gender identity or umbrella term which refers to genders that fall outside of the gender binary, and aren't strictly, solely, or completely "man" or "woman".

 Pansexual - an orientation characterized by sexual attraction to all genders. This term may be used in a way that indicates attraction regardless of (or with little regard to) gender, or attraction in which gender isn't a substantial factor.

 Polyamorous - a desire for multiple relationships or a relationship with more than one person at the same time. These relationships may or may not be romantic or sexual. Polyamory is a type of ethical non-monogamy.

 Polysexual - an orientation characterized by sexual attraction to multiple (but not necessarilly all) genders.

 Queer - a reclaimed slur referring to someone who is not cisgender and/or heterosexual and/or allosexual/alloromantic, or someone with variant experiences with orientation, gender, and/or sex. Not all LGBTQIA+ folks like or use this term, so be careful when using it to describe other people.

 Quoiromantic - a term signifying someone who doesn't understand romantic attraction, can't tell it apart from other types of attraction, is unsure whether they experience it, rejects the concept of romantic attraction as applicable to them, etc.

 Quoisexual - a term signifying someone who doesn't understand sexual attraction, can't tell it apart from other types of attraction, is unsure whether they experience it, rejects the concept of sexual attraction as applicable to them, etc.

 Transgender - a term referring to people whose gender assigned at birth is different than their gender identity. It includes trans men and trans women, as well as nonbinary people. Many (but not all) transgender people experience gender dysphoria and/or euphoria.

 Transfeminine - an umbrella term that refers to people who generally were not assigned female at birth and identify predominantly with femininity. Identities that may fall under this umbrella include trans woman, genderfluid, demifemme, nonbinary, and others.

 Transmasculine - an umbrella term that refers to people who generally were not assigned male at birth and identify predominantly with masculinity. Identities that may fall under this umbrella include trans man, genderfluid, demimasc, nonbinary, and others.
