Ich feiere es so hart, dass Paris ab 2024 das Zentrum für den Durchgangsverkehr sperrt, 70.000 Parkplätze abschaffen will, ab 2027 alle Diesel Fahrzeuge aus der Stadt verbannt und ständig neue Rad- und Gehwege baut und die Bürgermeisterin Anne Hidalgo
mit dieser Politik einfach Wahlen gewinnt♥️
@Perowinger94 Hidalgo is relative unpopular outside of the Paris center in the "Banlieue", but she is not elected by the Banlieue, only from people living in Paris administrative area. The Paris administrative area unlike Berlin didn't grow as much and is approximately the size of the the Zone A in Berlin. I'm pretty sure the people inside the ring in Berlin didn't vote for the CDU and their pro-car policies.
@carlschwan @Perowinger94 this was my question in mind. As much as I like the modern urban concept, it isn't good politics, if it doesn't care for people outside the city, like the Banlieue. In Germany we have a bad Verkehrspolitik, but there aren't such forgotten districts, like in France. This is why, despite all the problems, we don't have such big social conflicts, regular riots etc.
