After an internal battle of 30 years and the myopia that those that can't receive FM or DAB are bound to have Internet.

LW was the emergency bandwidth, do we think an internet connection is more likely to work than a long wave transmitter? That feels like hubris.

I imagine nuclear submarine commander orders have had to change.

Oh yes, everyone doubled down on DAB, as it's over the 50% coverage the Gov has to decide on the future and the switch off of FM and AM. Given the gaps in coverage I can't see that happening soon and there's no budget to either switch horses or strand about a third of the population.
