I’m not sure what’s more depressing

The fact a Supreme Court justice can be bought so easily

The fact that many people have access to Clarence Thomas on his “paid vacations”

The fact we have to multiply that by at least 38

Or the fact that it’s basically only one news organization that’s has been investigating this rampant corruption

Clarence Thomas’ 38 Vacations: The Other Billionaires Who Have Treated the Supreme Court Justice to Luxury Travel

The fullest accounting yet shows how Thomas has secretly reaped the benefits from a network of wealthy and well-connected patrons that is far more extensive than previously understood.

@flexghost

You missed one of the equally depressing aspects of this disgusting #SCOTUS mess:

The fact that NO ONE (not other judges in any Court, nor ANYONE in Congress, nor the WH itself) is seriously pushing for #impeachment and ClarenceThomas' removal from the #SupremeCourt, or for new laws to hold #SupremeCourtJustices accountable.

If everyone in both parties and all three branches of govt are all willing to turn a blind eye to such blatant #corruption, then our system is truly broken beyond repair or redemption.

It's time to get on the phones and start making demands of the people we voted in.

#CallCongress.

We also need to not let this get turned into a partisan issue. Corruption is wrong, nmw. Make the same calls to your #Republican reps as to the #Democrats.
