Sean TilleyTrying to come up with the best method to make an animated thumbnail for my article. Basically, you can choose between doing GIF, APNG, or WebP. Before I began this, I didn't even know WebP could support animation.
It's kind of frustrating, apparently a lot of web software doesn't just let you use MP4 or WebM for this kind of thing, and the resulting animated image files are orders of magnitude larger than the original video. I'm fiddling with video dimensions, image size, clip duration, but it's a struggle.
