zorianflorian@SonjaMGFX in the last view months I thought a lot about quitting motion design and video production in general. it was the worst yesr of my ten year freelance career so far. I was thinking about becoming a carpenter a lot :)
@zorianflorian funnily enough I’ve also been playing with the idea of carpentry. I actually seriously looked into it when I lost a job once and was unemployed before I went freelance but it was such a bureaucratic jungle that I gave up on it. What is making you consider it?
@SonjaMGFX Well funny enough we're both motion designers from Munich 😅 I had an appointment with the Arbeitsamt and they have a program that would fit quite nice on my situation. I have no finished university degree nor do I have a finished "Ausbildung" so they would even too uo the money I would earn as carpenter so I could make a living. Very cool and I'm still considering doing it next September. How about you?

I tried to figure out how you can start as a carpenter in Germany and the Arbeitsamt told me because I have a design degree I can just find an apprenticeship somewhere but then I couldn’t find any place that was even looking or responded to me. What’s the programme they suggested to you?
