SulaymanFThe problem is that Republicans have said they will not allow another Democrat to take her seat on the committee, meaning we have to wait until Jan 2025 to redo the committees. With her absent, the Committe doesn’t have enough votes to pass anything above Republican opposition, and they have made it clear they will obstruct and block ALL judges appointed by Biden. Replacing her will mean a political shutdown for the next 16 months because the GOP is playing this game.
This is the answer that most people either aren’t aware of or don’t want to acknowledge. It’s really shitty, but that’s what it is.
