Yeah but the spaceship is led by powerful crazies that are in a collision course with an asteroid and instead of saving us all, they are steering us all to collective suicide. And many of us are hostages because we cannot reach the bridge nor can we get off. That's how it feels when global leaders fire up the climate crisis rather than steering us away from it.

@marion_grau @rogward @lisamelton This... I find this quote often being pulled out to lecture people on respectability politics. If someone is trying to open an airlock im not going to politely remind them the airlocks are in place for a reasom amd then respect their right to have a conflicting opinion.
