Mine was my Mk1 Scirocco at somewhere around 1900lbs, and my current Duramax farm truck that weighs around 5500lbs.

Make Subaru Gay Again@Basmitharts brz was the lightest, and my diesel colorado was the heaviest, but i sold it.

if we are not counting the 12,000 lb motorhome our heaviest car would be the Subaru outback.

@autonerdery @Basmitharts if the random internet source I quickly googled is correct, the Mazda was shockingly heavy for a tiny car with a tiny rotary engine.

but there is only like 150 lb between them from like 2600 to a little over 2700

@Basmitharts I was shocked too, but it was the 1200cc 4M with a trunk, not hatch... Online weights vary, but regardless it was VERY light!
@Basmitharts here I am in 1987 junking it for $25 after... the head gasket blew (iirc) and the engine seized.

@Basmitharts I’ve apparently operated within a fairly narrow band—nothing ultralight or obscenely heavy.
Biggest ground-pounder, at 4,056 lb., was the 2000 BMW 540iAT. Lightest, at 2,564, is the ’65 Corvair Monza Sport Sedan. Also in the sub-3K club are the i3 (a surprising 2,634—thanks, carbon fiber!) and the ’87 Saab 900 SPG, so I currently own all three of the lightest cars I’ve had.
Zep@Basmitharts 93 Miat has to be the lightest and my brother owned an AWD 3.0 Jaguar X-Type which I think I drove myself/him around in more often than he drove it so I think that counts
The Jag was an underrated hoon machine provided the driver is capable of left foot braking, more than enough power for the rear wheels to overcome the tiny rear brakes

Dexter@Basmitharts Lightest was my ZZW30 MR2, those are something like 2150, and lighter even than the AE86 SR5 coupe I had before it.
Heaviest I owned was my 2nd-gen Bronco, those are just shy of 4700 lbs empty. Heaviest I drove consistently was an F700 dump truck that I want to say was around 12k empty, and twice that loaded.
@wheeljack 2150 is about what my Yaris weighs now, but that is an empty gas tank and minus the full size spare I usually carry.

Lightest: 1974 Datsun B210 wagon. I hated that car. It was constantly breaking down and it burned oil like a refinery fire. I beat it to death.
Heaviest: 1973 Chrysler Newport. One of my favorites. Looked like a junkyard special on the outside, but it drove like a dream and all the power bits worked. I sold it to a friend who entered it in a destruction derby. It deserved better.

Triumph Spitfire 1500
Mazda MX-5 Gen 1
It is pretty close between the 1100 and the Spitfire, but the 1100 took the crown coming in around 1780 lbs about 15 lbs lighter than the Spitfire and 200 or so lighter than the Mazda.
Heaviest one is a easy, a launch edition Volvo XC40 Auto coming in at about 2200 kg so about 4850 lbs.
I have only counted cars I actually owned or driven for a decent while in my comparison.
vulgalour - Free Range Queer@Basmitharts Probably the Renault 6TL which weighs in at around 750kg for the lightest. Heaviest is likely the Lanchester LD10, I don't know how much it weighs but considering the next nearest would be my old Citroen Xantia estate I'm pretty sure it's the heaviest by a good margin due to the wooden framed body mounted on a separate steel chassis.

Surprisingly the Outlook outweighed my 2001 Tundra by a couple of hundred pounds and my 1960 Thunderbird by almost 1000! Also surprised that my Boxster out weighs that Escort by about 500 lbs.
