President Carter put solar panels on the White House, Reagan tore them down after taking office, and the White House remained without solar for some time. Imagine what our energy and climate situation would look like from the 80s on if we’d had Presidents who thought long term.

The more I learn, the clearer it becomes that Republican presidents have contributed nothing beneficial to the country since before Reagan. Which isn’t to say everything democrats have done has been good, but there seems to be a definite pattern of the country getting worse under Republican administrations and better (relatively) under Democrats. Neither party is perfect, but Republicans are a definite detriment.
