I used to say that the most important thing to remember about Zoom is that everyone wants to see your cat, but now the most important thing to remember is that Zoom is going to use your Zoom sessions to train AI which is a great reason to stop using Zoom.

Unfortunately, employees don't have much say over that. The IT System Administrator may have more say. But if the bosses say "oh zoom is convenient, it's to much work to switch!", then you're out of luck.
My last job interviews for IT were over zoom. 🙃
