starting off on a more dreampop vibe, for anyone who isn't feeling the harder stuff I posted yesterday
kicking off with Sunny Day in Glasgow (a band from Philadelphia) doing the sweet and pretty 'Minor Keys'
next is the hugely underrated New Jersey group All Natural Lemon & Lime Flavors, who mix MBV style noise with a quieter sensibility and very pretty harmonies
Blankenberge again with 'So High'
I underrated them bc they lack That One Song that takes you to a realm beyond space and time and leave you gasping and disoriented, but honestly they are the perfect fusion of honey and static, and have never recorded a bad tune

Ride guitarist Andy Bell recorded a really good solo LP, off which this is my favorite song- that ultra rare drop, a shoegaze love song

next we're going back in time to the Golden Age w one of the first shoegaze acts I found, Ultra Vivid Scene with 'Mercy Seat'
@ancient_catbus Ok, not a shoegaze cover of the Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds song, “The Mercy Seat”.
A shoegaze/dream pop band called Waves of Dread covered it, but the result was not shoegaze (or particularly good).
I wonder if A Place to Bury Strangers could make something like this work.
