Reed's Dad@lauren it already happened. He can't help himself. Going to jail, I think will take a lot. If he were just a regular person, he would already be in jail awaiting trial.

Joe ❌👑@lauren I voted no because I think this is a tactic. Trump's lawyers are already on television trying to make this about the First Amendment, so they are baiting the judge. He will be as inflammatory as he can be while staying within the lines that mob bosses usually stay within. When people shout LOCK HIM UP that helps him promote the narrative that he is being unfairly persecuted, which will help him with his real goal, which is to win back the White House and shut down the cases against him.

Simon Anderson@lauren not that he won't say or do it, just that there won't be real consequences. I don't think there's any scenario where he ever sees the inside of a jail cell, which is truly sickening, and an indictment of our whole system. Btw, so tired of all these "hopium" posts about how "he's really in trouble now!" I desperately hope I'm wrong.
@Futur1st This judge is different. For the first time, I can see him seeing the inside of a cell. He has no self-control, and if he keeps sending out threats, I believe she WILL jail him. And the DC Appeals Court will back her. And SCOTUS won't get involved at that stage.
@lauren I fully agree that she will want to jail him at some point (deservedly.) Where I think we differ is that I don't think she'll be allowed to. Maybe I'm jaded by everything that's happened since the Mueller report and the dozens of times everyone thought he was finally going to be in real trouble. Like I said though, I really, really, hope I'm finally wrong on this!

@misterprotocol She the judge giving sentences LONGER than what the prosecution asked for in some Jan 6 cases. I think she's going to treat him very much as anyone else. Not exactly, but if he keeps up his usual stunts I think she would remand him for contempt.

@howlinhobbit @mydogwrotethis Nope, he won't flee anywhere. He wants to be in the middle of it. That's his whole life. He's probably the least likely to flee of any indicted person in history who had the means to do so.

c) lastly, I’m rooting for standing him against a wall, offering him a blindfold and last cigarette, and executing him for treason.
that may sound mean, but I’m nearly at the end of my life and I HATE what’s going on in my country’s politics.
