Elle 💗@aburka @netspooky I don't know for sure which HP printers it affects, but I had a sudden need to set my mom up with a printer in February while I was visiting, got an HP printer, had everything working, then it disabled and required the HP Smart app before it would work again. But if you already connected the smart app on your phone I think you're okay.

We have one of their older business machines and haven't seen the problem, though I do have the phone drivers which I use for mobile printing. I'd expect a business class machine to just work printing over WiFi as a PCL/PS device. Find its IP from its front panel and connect.
