Really enjoyed it today. The Start and Finish of cycle races can seem a little, brief, shall we say, when you see them on the TV. But I found it much more interesting experiencing it myself.
You know that infamous moment with the inflatable arch coming down on the road on top of Adam Yates?
Well today at the #GranFondo & #MedioFondo, just (and no more) past the finish line an ambulance got wedged under the camera device (not sure precisely what it is) platform above the road!
Fortunately nobody was finishing, it was between groups of finishers & they got lucky there was time to clear it.
I only got a photo as there was a #Spitfire plane passing at the moment of impact. #Cycling
