@carolyneholmes my grandma quilted hers by hand. She had a huge rectangle quilt rack she suspended from the ceiling by twine and eye hooks. She could lower it and work on it when she wanted, and then raise it out of the way when she needed to. I always thought it was ingenious. There is a lady here who will quilt things for people with a machine.
