I love this type of sense of humor...

# Perform the major release upgrade, removing packages if required
# Interrupting this step after downloading has completed is an excellent way to stress-test your backups

DebianUpgrade - Debian Wiki

Debian 12 (bookworm) is great indeed. For the long time, I've been faithful Ubuntu user, but when it comes to stability, there is no competition to Debian :) It's time to migrate all our system to Debian 12!
@lpryszcz Interesting. What about installation? (asking for a friend who is moderately experienced with Ubuntu, but not expert - yet)
@tchrisboles very smooth and everything works out of the box. Ubuntu is based on Debian. In the past Debian had more "raw" experience. Now I don't really see much difference. And all productivity extensions I tend to use are working just fine with Gnome 43. https://bioinfoexpert.com/blog/2020/09/25/ubuntu-with-gnome-extensions-for-productivity/
