Darren Latham on Instagram: "Hi all! I've had a few questions about the 90's Marine challenge, so I thought I'd clarify a bit here. The challenge is to paint a classic plastic Space Marine in any chapter colours you want. You can do something well known or go for an obscure chapter or even make your own up! Ideally it would be great to get everyone involved to paint the same miniature, which is the one pictured here and in the 2 examples by the talented @stahly_taleofpainters and @hendarion If you can't get hold of one, then of course feel free to join in, but try and get a Space Marine from the 90's era. The challenge is set to start on the 2nd of August. If you already have your Marine then feel free to start earlier. The deadline for the challenge is the 2nd of September. On that day it would be great to get everyone involved to post a picture of their finished model! Please feel free to post work in progress beforehand using the #90smarinechallenge but hold off posting final images until the 2nd of September, please. No conversions please, keep it as the stock miniature. Feel free to decorate the base as you want, but keep it to the base provided. It would be great if you have any spare Space Marines to share them with others who want to participate. (You'll get extra points for doing this) 😄 In the meantime I'll think of some fun awards for the end of the challenge. Hopefully that clears everything up, if I've missed anything let me know!
