The demarcations of fascism aren't difficult to read. They haven't been since that ideology tried to violently destroy civilization because - and this is important - an inexorable load-bearing quality of ultra-conservatism is intolerance and, as I've said before, the praxis of intolerance is unjust and arbitrary violence, both legal (every piece of legislation passed in a red state for the last two years) and extra-legal (every incident of Proud Boys or any other proxy Republican Party martial arm terrorizing or shooting up marginalized communities). When you vote for the one, you vote for the other.
