A thought…

@graay also should be noted, Tesla himself.was one of the overworked geniuses that worked for Edison for a time. He bought the hype on Edison and moved to America to work for him. When he learned otherwise, he bailed and did his own thing.

Also, a different con man has used his first name Nikola, for his own bullshit company.

I Stan the idea that his ghost is causing chaos.

@graay better burn more cars cause the companies ain't failing fast enough
@graay wait omg it just occurred to me it happened TWICE. Remember Nikola Motors?
@graay So if Tesla is rolling in his grave like a rotisserie chicken, can we hook his grave up to a turbine to generate electricity? Call it a Tesla coil maybe?
@spinach @graay His urn is a sphere displayed in his museum, so the appropriate electrical equipment would be to hand anyway.
@graay Nikola Tesla sabotaging Elon Musk is my new favorite irl headcanon
@graay The irony is that, like Elon, Tesla's greatest talent was self-promotion, to the point that we're still riding his hype train 100 years later.

@graay what is this referencing? Who was the first guy Tesla was beefing with? Would anyone tell me the story so I don't have to look it up?
@Revaley @graay Thomas Edison. It was mostly about the war between Tesla’s AC and Edison’s DC. You can look up the rest in your own time cause I’m lazy lol
@graay Actually he created power using Earth’s frequencies. Had a car that ran off Earth’s frequency. Lost financing after free energy, to all, was explained to his donors. FBI stolen all his writings at time of death. Musk is a wannabe. Always will be. I call him a jitterbug. He can’t sit still. Flies all over the place. And thinks that he’s the king of trend. Playing with Ukraine’s communication just locked in my personal view of him. Putin lovin’, South Africa born, never be president, hater. Choice words excluded.
@graay you know it wouldn't be quite so bad if the cars didn't have a DC motor in them.
@jfrench @graay Tesla uses AC motors in some of their models and even brushless DC motors, while not powered by AC, still use an inverter that alternates the current to move the rotor.

@graay

Isn't is odd that the only company that Musk has ever really relied on himself to run is failing?

Twitter or X as he calls it.

Is Musk so infatuated with the letter X because that's his signature???

@graay Wasn't Tesla also in favor of electricity being free vs. Edison who wanted to monetize. (Sounds just like the new guy. Not.)
@graay
The worst thing is that they are using his furiously spinning corpse to generate DC power.
@graay Great catch. I've had sort of the same thought but never so beautifully said.
@graay wild that musk has more in common with edison (a hack fraud who never invented anything with the intelligence of a celery stick) than the guy he named his company after
@graay I wished ghost existed just for this reason alone but science says no.
@graay I think I'll find a way to weave that into the #Supernatural TTRPG I'm running...
@graay "The Revenge of Electromagnetism God" !
@graay this is full of brand new sentences.

@graay The irony is that Elon is finally free to defeat himself, and thanks to his twitterific performance, everyone just recognize him for who he is.

A fucking fraud with delusions of grandeur.
