@nixCraft HP in the past used to be brilliant - easy to repair, get spare parts etc.
Then they lost it and now they screw the users all the time.
I've only got 1 HP printer now (laser) and won't have another one from them when either this one dies or they screw it
For the Apple version; they release a new version of this printer, now with two buttons, that costs twice as much, but the 2nd button only gives you functionality that has existed as basic features in all other printers for the last 20 years, and will only let you print to it from other Apple devices.
@nixCraft installed offbrand catridges in mine recently and had to aknowledge a warning on the printer that they can ensure quality and safety with those ...
If i imagined my spouse or even someone Like the inlaws Rreading that Message that would really cause insecurities and a phone call to me.
