A few of the many #climate highlights for July 2023 around Alaska. Dramatic contrast between Southcentral/Southwest #Alaska and the North Slope, eastern Interior and Southeast. In addition to record dry at Yakutat, Gulkana, Juneau and Sitka all had a top ten driest July. @AlaskaWx @Climatologist49 @AK_OK @YJRosen checking in from Southcentral #KPen and can verify, this summer hasnt been normal by any definition/standard of the word normal.

The spigot seems to have been turned off and someone turned the heat up. 70s is too hot for this Alaskan gal. I know 80s is too hot for all Alaskans.
