iFredThe wider hacker community seems to have a strange holier-than-thou perspective when it comes to anything involving UFOs. Anytime the topic shows up on HN, people trample over each other to breath heavily and pound away at the keyboard to explain that fighter pilots and their state of the art sensors suffered hysteria than something weird in the air.
Viss@ifred it is unfortunate, for everyone really, that there is no barrier to entry for 'hackers'. literally people walk in off the street and say they're experts and hackers, and the existing certs and training courses, in very large part dont prove people know stuff, only that they are willing to jump through hoops.
