So, the ECB has opened this survey to get an idea if people would like to see birds on the next set of Euro bank notes.

Okay. My phrasing might be a bit leading as there are other topics they present as options to thumb down before they ask about the birds (like European virtues and culture expressed as hands). But really, in the end... they just want your OK to put birds on bank notes.
If you have some time for this: lend them a hand!

Survey on Euro Banknote Themes

@nblr I want owls!
@brezelradar They even mention them as an example 🦉 <3
@nblr I kinda don’t want my cat to hunt my banknotes though.
@nblr I will laugh if a sandpiper ends up on any of the bills. More so if it is not the 100 euro one. (100 guilder bills had them and where hence nicknamed "snip" a name still sometimes used for the 100 euro bill)
@nblr
Bringing back the common snipe wouldn't look too much out of place, then...

@nblr the order of the questions is random, I got the birds as the first question :)
@equinox Oooh! Didn’t know that as I only did the questionnaire once. As I should. But it’s good to know that their study design really brings the point over that Europeans at large prefer birds no matter in which order the options are presented. 😏
