@janvenetor @w7voa Unfortunately most of the US does *not* have decent SLAPP protections. But at a glance (IANAL) it looks like DC (where CCDH is based) at least has some robust protections, if not particularly good procedures for getting a suit dismissed.

@w7voa The problem is he will face no meaningful consequences for his horrid behaviors, he has so much wealth he can literally waste billions, break laws, behave however he wishes, and still live comfortably with more resources than most people will ever have, shielded behind an army of hired sycophants and lawyers.

@w7voa Seems like a potential SLAPP lawsuit to me. So much for being a, "free speech absolutist." Musk is a bully who clearly does not believe the laws apply to him, and is happy to leverage his wealth to make other people suffer if it suits him.

@w7voa if they'd spend more time policing the platform, maybe advertisers would come back.

Personally I'm done with platforms that constantly inundate me with trivial chatter. Twitter's biggest usability problem is that it constantly presents me with things I am not asking for, which is the tendency of all advertising-driven platforms. I always read articles on the web with Safari reader mode, to avoid being distracted by all the interstitial ads, which I find unsettling.
