Giving fascists “the benefit of the doubt” is how you end up living under fascism.

(Notice I said “living”. Funny how those who would be dead under it are never the ones doing this.)

@aral This idea is close to that you need to be tolerant of the intolerant.
Yeah, no, just no.
Usually you find a lot of fascist behavior if you just look even a little, so in the end you don't need to give them any benefit of doubt.
