#WeebQuestionnaire - Haven't done this in a while, but today, I have some time at my hand and I'm excited to talk about this topic. I felt a bit nostalgic for the last couple of days, so I'd love for you to share Anime that you've seen as a child. Preferably shows you've seen at age 12 and below. I bet that you've seen more than you think, even if it was later that you got into Anime.

Takarajima - It's just Treasure Island

Cat's Eye - Show about three cat burglars, trying to find their dad.

La Seine no Hoshi - A female vigilante fighting for the people of Paris.

Robin Hood no Daibouken - Robin Hood, but they're all children.

#Anime

@To #CandyCandy, #TopoGigio, #WonderBeatScramble and #MahouTsukaiSally (the 1989 version) were my childhood favorites! I also remember seeing some bits and pieces of #Doraemon and #JetterMars, and I adored #NonnonbaaToOre (a live action series with some animated scenes based on Mizuki Shigeru's #manga). This list is incomplete, of course.
@karamergen That's a very interesting list for me because I'm super unfamiliar with the shows. Topo Gigio is actually the only one that aired in germany and during that time, you never watched shows that weren't on TV.
@To Russian TV channels actually aired some interesting stuff back then, including a very odd little #LiccaChan miniseries (Fushigi na Fushigi na Yunia Monogatari and Fushigi na Mahou no Ring). I still love it to death.
@karamergen Germany also had a wide variety. Especially in the 90s. We bought a lot of Anime from France and Italy.
I was always into the more serious, teen-oriented shows like Cat's Eye, Urashiman or even Rose of Versailles and some World Masterpiece Theater that also explored themes like death and abuse.
After the release of Pokemon and Dragon Ball in the 00s it became way more focused on Shounen mixed with a small collection of Magical Girl shows.
