The United States owes Donald Trump a great debt of gratitude. His hilarious denials of any wrongdoing have served to distill to purity the Republican Party to its two constituent components, assholes and morons. In a mere six or seven years he has managed to reveal religious orthodoxy and fascism as one and the same. We no longer have to inquire; there they are, standing with mouths agape, praying to Herr Trump, Lord Mudflap of House Rottencrotch, rawdogger of porn stars and dragger of a strap-on distended rectal prolapse. It’s funny how much hatred people have for Trump and turn a blind eye to other politicians. It’s only because anti Trump news is spoon fed to the world and to find any dirt on any other politicians you have to do your own digging

None of that shit means shit. The only meaningful difference is that there’s a thurd of people who are voting to “clown” libtreads (twitching from Reddit there - got kicked off for using the T syllable) by sending people they wouldn’t piss on if they found 'em on fire.

These are members of Congress. The people who literally write laws. One of them was even able to stall the appointment of a supreme court justice until the next Republican president took over, then decided that rule didn't apply to their current republican president. How are you going to say these people don't mean shit?

My advice is to despair. Humans are apes. The glut of research on us and our similarities to all other great apes points to a very low likelihood of surviving the “village of eight billion” thing, and the news from climatologists is “we can’t fucking sleep.” Or sumptin.
