Among my moms’s things - a knitted blanket she made that I almost let go of & then decided to pack in my suitcase to take home. They are not “my” colors but oh my, to have her handiwork is deeply moving to me. She died in 2020 & I just got back from closing out all her stuff in Chicago. It will take new weeks to process — We took her blanket to her grave for her dedication. And that’s when I knew I had to pack out to go home with me. May get memory be a blessing.
