The United States owes Donald Trump a great debt of gratitude. His hilarious denials of any wrongdoing have served to distill to purity the Republican Party to its two constituent components, assholes and morons. In a mere six or seven years he has managed to reveal religious orthodoxy and fascism as one and the same. We no longer have to inquire; there they are, standing with mouths agape, praying to Herr Trump, Lord Mudflap of House Rottencrotch, rawdogger of porn stars and dragger of a strap-on distended rectal prolapse.
