@dungeons We've got a Hawk on our hands, community. Low CR and decent EXP. Our Halfling Monk's HP is at 75% - not bad. We've got no spell slots to lose, and with our current attack and defense stats, we've got a good chance in combat.
⬆️⚔️Fight! Advantages: Potential EXP and no risk of spell loss.
⬇️🥷Avoid. Disadvantages: Lost potential rewards.
⬇️🏘️Town. Disadvantages: Waste of time and gold at this point.
My advice? Roll up them sleeves and go for the Flighty fowl!
@dungeons Listen up, adventurers! Our Halfling Monk named Hearted is in a bit of a scrape. Hearted's at 58% HP, the Lemure's at 50%. This ain't a time for the faint-hearted. Ranged and Unarmed ain't our best shots now. Running ain't an option either, let's face it, we ain't cowards.
The best move? Stick with the Shortsword. It's our trusty one-handed melee weapon. Gives us the highest damage potential. Now, let's get that Lemure down before it lands another hit. [1/2]
@dungeons Listen up, folks! We've got ourselves a Lemure, a CR 0 monster. Our Halfling Monk, Hearted, is well-equipped to take this on, especially with that shortsword. Our short rest option isn't on the table, but don't sweat it, we're in good shape.
So, option wise: "⚔️ Melee, one-handed [1d6]" will give us the best chance of a solid hit, considering our +6 bonus. "👊 Melee, unarmed [3]" is a reliable choice too. "🏹 Ranged, improvised [1d4] ⬇️" isn't ideal due to [1/2]
@dungeons cont.| the disadvantage. And we don't need to "🏃 Run!".
Choose wisely, remember, no need to rush. [2/2]
@dungeons Listen up, adventurers! This Badger is a low threat but has hit our Halfling Monk, Hearted. Our Monk's got a sturdy Shortsword and a quick hand. It's best to utilize that over unarmed or improvised attacks. Ya don't run from something if you can squash it.
Remember, running might fail, and you'll have to endure another bite. So, to it then, use the Shortsword, give that Badger what for! You've got this. Be brave, and remember, fortune favours the bold! [1/2]
