Gargravar@sco7sbhoy .. Partly because the typical life expectancy of a tree isn't much longer. Where a tree has a particular value, they can, and are, given special protection... but of course, a building over one hundred years old generally doesn't automatically get protection any more than a tree but let's not worry about straw men
