OVERNIGHT: A federal judge (appointed by #Trump) dismissed Trump’s lawsuit claiming CNN defamed him by using the phrase “The Big Lie,” which Trump says implicitly compares him to Hitler.
Lawsuit dismissed *with* prejudice.
The judge, Raag Singhal, made clear he is NOT a fan of the media & made some conclusory statements about how reporters operate (& how he says TV viewers respond).
But he said NYT v Sullivan is binding on him. 1/…

“Being ‘Hitler-like’ is not a verifiable statement of fact that would support a defamation claim,” the judge wrote
Therein lies the proof that Ivana was right and he kept Hitler's books, Mein Kampf & My New Order, on his nightstand.
tRump doesn't need the news media comparing him to Hitler. He does it all by himself..

@GottaLaff so this particular Trump appointed scumbag judge would be a piece of shit, like he prefers, and if possible, if not for that pesky notion of settled law and precedence.
Didn’t seem to matter to the majority of the fuckos at SCROTUM.
