Thats the one thing which surprised me too. I very much doubt being able to run current linux kernel on hardware with that little amount of memory and that limited set of CPU instructions.

Rev. GothAlice@basisbit @pjohanneson @mdreid I haven't Linux'd in a while, but is it not still incredibly modular? I was always able to pair it down shockingly well. Back in the day, Emacs-as-init boot floppies still worked.
All you need is a kernel and Emacs.
Really.
