[I wish I could gift this article from Washington Post but I've used up mine for the month. Maybe someone else can do it.]

Aliens are among us — and they want to impeach Biden

... David Grusch, a former Defense Department intelligence official who now claims:

That one “partially intact vehicle” was retrieved from Italian dictator Benito Mussolini in 1933 by the United States, acting on a tip from Pope Pius XII.

Aliens are among us — and they want to impeach Biden

The truth is out there. Just don’t expect to learn it from the alien life forms currently running the People’s House.

@JohnShirley2023 retrieved from Benito in 33? We gotta tap @bruces in on this

The G.O.P. wants to distract
From Trump's insurrection they backed
They have every reason
To minimize treason
But it walked like a duck and it quacked

@weaselx86 @JohnShirley2023

Jordan got a subpoena
The other year
It was from the House
He did not appear
He heard the cries of rape
He "did not hear"

But he's stronger
than the speaker
"Kevin McQuarthy"?
There's no one weaker
Than the "Speaker"

@JohnShirley2023 Making outlandish claims is a feature of fascist movements. Timothy Snyder outlines this in The Road to Unfreedom much better than I can here, but basically it makes people more pliable if they believe crazy but harmless things and it's a way to create buy-in for much more harmful beliefs.
@GleaningSage "Democrats are concealing aliens that are taking over Earth! They must be stopped by any means!"
