@SharkaBytes The best entry of them all, IMO.

GITS is at its best when it strikes a balance between the mystery-solving, the action scenes, the interpersonal relationships, and the philosophical / metaphysical naval-gazing.

So far, I think Stand Alone Complex does the best job at this balance, mostly thanks to the Tachikoma ;)

@2bit_natty I think so too!

I love the procedural nature of GITS and the mix of arc and standalone eps that flesh out its future world and the issues it faces. As you say, it strikes a balance of different elements wonderfully and mixes in moments of humour too.
