@michelle @andy in 2020 almost 250k square kilometres burnt down the east coast of Australia and our houses were full of toxic air for weeks on end.

At the time, there was an iconic photograph of a kangaroo burnt (and stuck) to a fence, similar to the laughable scene from
Terminator 2 when the world ended.

I don’t think I’ll ever forget that time, or how much it hurt, but it was then I realised how badly we’ve fucked basically everything. There is no realistic point of return from here.
