@KennySpade @neilhimself
I haven't watched the TV version, so that may be where it is. It's also been a couple of years so I may have mis-remembered it.
I'd also like to see more of the eastern faiths represented, whether they are the various Japanese, Chinese, Indian gods, or those of the smaller Pacific and Indian Ocean islands, and so on.
Considering the depth of research Neil did for what he did write, that may take as long to research as the first book did. Not expecting it. 🙂
@rusty @neilhimself the wiki lists five actors, and mentions Mr. Ibis writing a story about one incarnation in Mexico.
If you haven’t read it, I’d recommend reading his Norse Mythology book. Great retellings of a lot of foundational myths.
Average $6 per - great value 😀
Twenty odd years ago I barely missed attending your book signing of American Gods in Berkeley due to a drunken roomate and a psychotic lovebird. The next day I stopped by the bookstore and found a copy you had signed left on the shelf, and immediately bought it. It was one of my prized possessions, one I held on to through thick and thin through innumerable misadventures, until a decade later, my young family and I facing eviction in the midst of the Recession, I took it down to a rare book seller and got just enough to cover rent.
The Gods looked kindly on my sacrifice - I got a job that week, and disaster was averted. I just wanted to say thank you for the incredible work and the luck it brought me when I was down and out.
Side note, if you're ever looking for the Gods of the west US, I have a pretty good idea where a couple of them hang out...
