Christine MalecUnlikely, but does anyone know if there's a way to block posts that have images with no alt text? It's not just that they're usually pointless for me as a blind person, but also I'm pretty sure that my screen reader is not telling me there's an image, so many posts leave me simply confused, not even knowing for sure that I'm missing something in an image. Maybe the text is just an obscure zen cohen or something. This increased cognitive load is disturbing what should be a mindless experience.

It does exactly what you want, I think. You'd have to get an admin to add it to your instance, though as far as I can tell it would impact everyone on the instance so it would probably warrant a toggle switch.
