BusyI’m a bit frustrated that none of my country’s television news channels mentioned this. All the American ones were going on about something to do with Biden and the Canadian ones were going on about the new Cabinet shuffle in Parliament. The only reason why I was aware this was going on was from an article Brave showed me in my feed, and then searching on Lemmy gave me this post providing the livestream feed.
BenDoubleUIt’s definitely been low-covered in the media here in the states. It sort of got big a few weeks ago when a very small, almost unknown newstation called “News Nation” picked up the Grusch interview. It was covered heavily there, but… no one watches that channel.
Afterwards, some of the big stations picked it up and some newspapers too, but it was forgotten pretty quickly. Unless you were already in this “circle of information”, you probably wouldn’t have heard about it. Maybe it’ll get picked up after today (but probably forgotten about by Friday)
NewsNation is the only news station I’ve seen seriously cover the matter. The Hill Rising is a total train wreck and just dumb conjecture from the hosts imo. I cringe when I watch their coverage…
