@GottaLaff @petep44 @cowvin Mastodon gets too much of a bad rap for “being hard,” “being confusing,” and “Can’t replace the immediacy of Twitter.” I’ve never had a problem with the first 2, I just signed up and started posting. Thank you for for posting real time news! My day job when I’m not writing is helping run a warehouse. We’ve had a lot of hesitation about a pending strike. I actually saw your post about an hour before receiving an email from my UPS rep. Mastodon for the win!

@dickrubin716 I found Mastodon awkward at first, but not hard. It takes more steps and effort than Twitter does to do some tasks, but overall, not difficult at all. And they’re the only one who provides columns, like TweetDeck does.

Having said that, I get plenty of satisfying interaction with @NorCal_Lynne , @IdahoLark , @GottaLaff , @wa7iut , @zebpalmer, @ai6yr and many others w/o knowing what I’m really doing. Hard? Easy?
