Connecticut is where the European invaders cut the indigenous' sea cable, crippling their communication (hence the name: Connect - Cut).

Gosh, I always forget how large the Island of Murica is, wow. Still, I think you're mistaken here. The beaches of Arizona are known for mimes, the locals who entertain tourists, not particularly for mines.
Colorado's beaches are in the south-east, because little known to most people, Texas is the US' only submarine state.
