not that I don't appreciate the ABSOLUTE DELUGE of posts flying by on misskey.io, but does anyone know a Misskey instance where, uhm... I can read some of the posts? 😅😅

Misskey seems like a fantastic platform, but almost every active instance I find is exclusively Japanese posting, which I'm not intelligent enough to read...

@bd_ i guess so, but the only thing I'm really interested in is VRChat stuff but that tends to be less discussion and more just pictures over and over

Running your own misskey on a VPS isn't too difficult, but you will run into issues of everyone being on a remote instance, which can be a headache...

@tupper yeah, discovery is a challenge with Misskey currently. I don’t know how much the English vrc community is on Misskey in the first place either…

@tupper I'm in the process of spinning up my own instance. Because well - it looks way more fun than Mastodon. But yeah, the public misskeys - they all seem to be Japanese dominated.

But yeah, my VRC circle literally migrated - finally. Daddy Musk finally crossed the line I guess.

@tupper moved to misskey My self cuz was having issues self hosting mastodon. It is nice and still supports activity pub (also has cookie clicker built in)
