One might almost suspect that this omission was an intentional effort to hide that the sample includes the defederated cluster of Japanese lolicon servers dedicated to the content the researchers claim to have discovered "on Mastodon".

I also notice that there is no declaration of funding or conflicts of interest. This has me wondering if this is an undeclared Microsoft marketing campaign.
