Here and Bluesky are the only two text based social media I enjoy, for different reasons. Both places are full of “my people” but here they’re my earnest and serious people who have a lot of followers who like to scold people in the replies, and Bluesky is my horny shitposter people.

Both tell Journalists to fuck off, only one dogpiles Nazis until they fuck off, the other thinks federation solves that.

@BethanyBlack I've not tried Bluesky yet but I'm enjoying the slightly slower pace here at the moment. It's weird, as someone who was pretty much constantly plugged in to Twitter, I've not missed it as much as I thought I would.

@BethanyBlack bluesky people are looking for a systemic counter to fascism on a public level and that's a lot harder than spinning off new in groups assumed to be free of it.
