scarabicWho is this rebrand for? A lot of people have ignored the Elon mess and kept using Twitter because “Twitter is Twitter” but if he takes that away, and people have to say “I posted on X…” then I hope another wave of them will quit for good.

Twitter as a name was pretty much perfect. It explained the entire platform in a word. Musk thinks he can turn it into a WeChat for the English speaking world and that’s just not going to happen.
