Hello hideaway users.

We had a few days of downtime recently, since Tuesday, July 18.

First, I am very sorry this happened.

Second, let me explain why this happened.

The server the instance runs on had hardware failure, which took time for myself in conversation with the provider to diagnose, as well as find an acceptable solution.

Once the solution was found, I had to configure the new server, as well as then restore my Mastodon backup.

This is now all complete, and there should be no more downtime.

I also now have a secondary server, that will mirror the data on primary so that in the event this happens again, the impact to you, the users, should be minimal.
