@raf Is rugelah the same as Babka? Duolingo Yiddish is forever rattling on about Babka. I've only ever had rugelah. I've never knowingly seen this thing called babka, but the description seems to be sort of the same.

@raf Oh! What our (UK)kosher bakeries sell is definitely cake like. A yeast cake sort of stuff. Which is what your picture looks like. I'm even more confused. And I don't think I've ever seen a babka sold. I'm wondering if it's more of an American Jewish stuff.
