Did you know, that 2 unixoid operating systems existed in former East Germany (GDR), which was part of the communist eastern bloc?
One was a #Unix V Clone named #MUTOS (MultiUser Time Sharing Operating System) for the K1630, a 8 bit micro computer.
The other one was #WEGA for the 16 bit P8000 computers. Both ceased to exist with the german reunification.

Das muss ich kurz (aus dem Mutos-Manual bei sax.de) beschmunzeln. Bin in 8019 halb groß geworden, das ist sozusagen direkt daneben.

Grad mal geguckt, sogar der C-Compiler war eine Eigenentwicklung (Ilmenau). Sehr interessant
